Human Resource Specialist

- Administer and manage various HR programs and initiatives, including but not limited to employee onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations.

- Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.

Will help with the scheduling of staff as and when needed

- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions.

- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

- Coordinate training and development programs for employees.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

- Proficient in using HRIS systems (EMR) for data entry and reporting.

- Familiarity with payroll systems ( ADP) is a plus.

- Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
