Job Summary

Acts as a Trusted-Advisor to line managers on HR management processes. Advises on HR policies and practices for effective people management.
Manages and processes payroll & benefits operations efficiently. Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Provides specialized advice to line managers on HR management processes and assists them with HR policies and practices.
  • Advises line managers on people management issues, complex HR processes, offboarding and legal boundaries and executes upon.
  • Supports managers with illness, absence, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Handles reporting and analytics.
  • Supports HRBP's with application of HR interventions.
  • Drives continuous standardization and improvements in working methods, including addressing communication and portal content for further standardization.
  • Suggests policy improvements to the HRBP based on day-to-day experience and supports translating policy and legal design into processes deliverable.
  • Act as escalation point to coordinate resolution of complex individual employee matters.
  • Coordinates and manages full process with payroll teams and/or vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Ensures compliance with local and international payroll laws and regulations.
  • Answers and processes transactional activities according to the defined processes
  • Approves, rejects, re-submits or escalates transactions based on policies and guidelines
  • Files employee-related documentation; maintains employee files and records and supports delivery of reports (where applicable - this activity can also be performed by contact centre advisor).

Critical Experiences

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR advisory roles, with a focus on employee engagement, relations, HR policies, payroll and legal compliance.
  • Fluency in Arabic & English is must and French is highly desirable.
  • Experience in HR services or payroll processing, with a focus on employee documentation and transactional activities.

  • Certification in Human Resources is a plus to ensure understanding of HR practices and legal requirements.
