We are hiring a Remote HR Analyst.
The HR Analyst partners with HR team and key stakeholders to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HR Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for general HR inquiries, ensures data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
2. Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short and long-term information department and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
3. Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRIS system tables. Documents process and results. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices. process and results.
4. Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
5. Ensure timely and accurate input of employee data and organizational changes in compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
6. Files EEO-1 reports annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
7. Serves as first point of contact and subject matter expert for general HR related inquiries. Independently responds to unemployment claims and appeals for the company. Independently handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Conducts exit interviews and compiles/presents reports for system generated exit interview data.
8. Assists in the development and implementation of SOPs, personnel policies and procedures.
9. Maintain employee files including an individual's personnel and confidential file, as well as I-9 and payroll files.
10. Complete special projects for the Human Resources department.
11. All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
1. Requires a BA in Information Technology, Business Management, Human Resources or related degree.
2. 3-5 years human resources experience.
3. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint is required.
4. Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems is preferred.
5. Must have excellent communication skills and good working relationships with other employees.
6. 3 years of HRIS system maintenance experience required; preferred UKG HRIS experience.
