Position Summary:
We are seeking an entry level full-time HR Assistant to join our team. This position supports a variety of HR functions including employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and onboarding with a primary focus on data entry, employee recordkeeping, and payroll assistance.

Position is full time Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm at our office in Moorpark.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update employee information into HRIS and payroll systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Compile and verify employee timesheets and other payroll data for processing
  • Maintain employee files and electronic records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with onboarding documentation, new hire checklists, and employment verifications
  • Track training completion, certifications, and other HR compliance items
  • Support the HR team with audits, reporting, and file organization projects
  • Respond to internal requests for forms, employment information, or payroll-related questions
  • Provides basic technical assistance to employees such as assistance accessing company websites.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications needed:

  • One year of prior administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Organization requirements and is in good working order.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
