Job Title: HR Assistant

Job Summary
The HR Assistant will support day-to-day HR operations including employee documentation, MIS preparation, onboarding coordination, data entry, and administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth functioning of HR processes with accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of activities.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain and update employee personnel files (physical & digital)
- Ensure timely collection and verification of joining documents
- Support in preparing HR letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, transfer, warning, etc.)
- Maintain high data accuracy and confidentiality in employee records
Onboarding & Induction
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities and joining day arrangements
- Facilitate onboarding sessions and assist new employees with forms, IDs, and orientation
- Assist in coordinating induction programs with relevant departments
3HR MIS & Data Management
- Prepare and update HR MIS reports (headcount, attendance, recruitment, attrition, etc.)
- Maintain HR databases & trackers in Excel/HRMS
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting
Recruitment Support
- Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates & departments
- Publish job postings and track candidate status
- Support campus drives and recruitment events when required
Compliance & Statutory Support
- Assist in documentation required for PF, ESIC, gratuity, insurance, etc.
- Maintain registers and statutory records as per company/HR policies
Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Support HR activities such as events, celebrations, and communication drives
- Address basic employee queries or route them to HR Manager
General HR & Admin Support
- Assist payroll team with attendance/leave verification
- Coordinate with IT/Admin for new joiners’ seating/access requirements
- Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day HR operations
Skills & Competencies
- Strong MS Excel and HRIS/ERP knowledge (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred)
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Ability to multitask and work within timelines
Qualifications
- Graduate in HR / Business Administration (BBA/B.Com/BA HR) or Diploma in HR
- 0–2+ years of experience in HR operations or similar role (Fresher can apply)
Work Environment
- Manufacturing unit exposure preferred (if applicable)
- Willingness to work on shopfloor documentation when required
Job Types: Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
