Mountain Vista Senior Living Community, part of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest (ABHM), is hiring an HR Assistant to support daily human resources operations in our senior living community. This is a part-time, day-shift role offering competitive pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employees and residents alike.

What You’ll Do

Conduct interviews as needed and support hiring managers
Complete background checks and CAPS checks
Prepare and send offer letters to candidates
Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
Host and coordinate new hire orientations
Maintain and organize employee personnel files
Complete I-9 verification and onboarding documentation
Support general HR administrative functions as needed

Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
Previous administrative or HR support experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare, senior living, or a related field
Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, compliance, and recordkeeping
