We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the HR department. Full-Time employment, Monday through Friday. Standard office hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm. Our offices are located in Batesville, AR.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, i.e., answering incoming calls and directing all inquiries to the appropriate team member
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team
  • Maintain employee records (physical and digital) via the current HRIS platform (Paylocity)
  • Launch and maintain the new hire on-boarding process
  • Conducting all new hire background checks
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding the new hire on-boarding process and the HRIS platform
  • Assist with new hire and annual training programs. Which will include documenting training hours and maintaining renewal certification

Preferred but not required:

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity) is a plus
  • Understanding of recruiting principles and practices

Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven work experience as an HR Assistant or relevant role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a team to meet the common goals of the HR dept and the overall goals of Myers-Davis Life Coaching
  • Must be very comfortable and familiar working with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
