Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human capital management principles. This role is essential for ensuring smooth HR operations, fostering employee relations, and assisting with talent acquisition processes.

Duties

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Facilitate employee evaluations and performance management processes.
  • Help manage FMLA requests and workers' compensation claims in compliance with employment and labor laws.
  • Assist with training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Collect data for affirmative action planning and succession planning initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects, including data collection and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience with payroll systems like ADP or Paylocity is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is advantageous.
