HR Assistant

Job Title: HR Assistant

Department: Human Resources
Location: Sharjah

Job Summary:

The HR Assistant – will support core HR administrative and operational functions with a focus on labor reporting, employee case management, and compliance-related documentation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Excel for generating reports and managing workforce data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare and maintain labor and staff summary reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Analyze workforce data and generate insights for management review
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of HR data across systems
  • Develop automated reports and dashboards using advanced Excel functions

2. Case Handling & File Closures

  • Manage and process absconding worker cases, including documentation and system updates
  • Handle closure of medical unfit employee cases in compliance with company policy and labor regulations
  • Maintain proper records and ensure all case files are audit-ready

3. HR Operations Support

  • Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes as required
  • Coordinate with internal departments for employee-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies

4. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and HR processes
  • Implement Excel-based automation for recurring HR tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations or administration
  • Experience handling employee case management (absconding, medical cases, etc.) preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel (Mandatory): Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Familiarity with HRMS systems
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
