Sagis Diagnostics is an entirely physician-led sub-specialty pathology group supported by a CAP-accredited histology lab located in the heart of Houston, Texas. The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting all HR functions, with a primary focus on onboarding, employee relations, and recruiting support. This role ensures smooth HR operations, maintains accurate employee records, and serves as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate and assist with new hire onboarding, including orientations, paperwork, and employee introductions.
Support recruiting efforts: posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and responding to candidate inquiries.
Maintain HRIS data entry and ensure personnel files and documentation are accurate and up-to-date as needed.
Assist employees and supervisors with interpretation of HR policies and procedures as needed.
Support benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries as needed.
Prepare and manage HR communications, including job postings, reference checks, and verification of employment.
Assist HR Manager with projects, initiatives, and HR reporting as needed.
Provide general clerical and operational support to management and HR team.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee records and information.
Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
3+ years of HR experience, preferably with onboarding, recruiting, or general HR responsibilities.
3+ years of Paycom experience preferred.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Office environment, with standard office equipment and conditions.
Ability to type, file, lift office supplies up to 20 pounds, stand, talk, and hear.
