HR Assistant - Generalist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant – Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and manage key employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will assist in recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, visa coordination, and overall HR administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Selection

  • Assist in managing the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and selection.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters and support documentation.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate records.

2. Onboarding

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding of new hires.
  • Ensure all joining documentation is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate induction schedules and orientation sessions.
  • Liaise with IT and other departments to ensure readiness for new employees.

3. Probation Appraisal

  • Track employee probation periods and notify managers of upcoming reviews.
  • Coordinate probation evaluations and maintain appraisal records.
  • Prepare confirmation or extension letters as required.

4. Resignation & Exit Management

  • Process employee resignations in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinate exit interviews and clearance procedures.
  • Assist in final settlement documentation and update employee records.

5. Leave & Attendance Management

  • Maintain and monitor employee attendance and leave records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.

6. Employee Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and updated employee files (contracts, IDs, certificates, etc.).
  • Monitor expiry dates of contracts, visas, and labor cards.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper record-keeping (digital and physical).

7. Document Requests

  • Handle requests for salary certificates, NOCs, employment verification letters, and other official documents.
  • Ensure timely preparation and issuance of requested documents.

8. Visa & Labour Card Coordination

  • Coordinate with the PRO for visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and labor card processing.
  • Track visa and labor card validity and ensure timely renewals.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to immigration and labor compliance.

9. Budget Requests

  • Assist in preparing budget requests for new hires.
  • Support cost tracking for visa renewals, contract renewals, and labor card processing.
  • Coordinate with Finance for necessary approvals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of HR experience in a generalist or HR support role.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
