Job Description
YRCI is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support our Human Resources Remote Operations Center (HRROC™), located in Reston, VA. YRCI's HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center that supports multiple Federal agencies and offers a friendly, collaborative team environment with access to training from industry experts!
The Role (Fully Remote)
- Although the YRCI home office is located in Reston, VA, this position is fully remote.
- Assist the Onboarding Specialists with a variety of onboarding activities to include:
- Train on agency staffing systems.
- Extend offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) compensation policy.
- Draft Tentative and Final offer letters to selected candidates.
- Request employment records via electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF), OPF, and Standard Form (SF)-75 data from losing agencies for transfer employees.
- Respond to selectee inquiries regarding job offer information.
- Review, prepare, and code Accession SF-52s per the OPM Guide to Coding and Processing.
- Execute a wide range of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), data bases, and retrieval methods to provide data for reporting purposes.

What You Need to Bring to the Table
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); and possess experience using automated systems to maintain data quality and data integrity.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail; experience managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain professionalism when handling sensitive HR information.
- Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new processes, systems, and regulations.
- Ability to apply and interpret Federal HR laws, policies, and agency specific operating procedures.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- College degree is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the government required security check.
