Job Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to business leaders, aligning HR practices with organizational objectives. This role focuses on enhancing employee performance, engagement, learning & development, and career progression while ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle—from onboarding to ongoing development. The HRBP partners with leadership to drive cultural initiatives, talent strategies, and people-related solutions that support business growth and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand goals and align HR strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to organizational design, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives.
- Coach and advise managers on leadership, team dynamics, and HR best practices.
Learning & Development
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs.
- Promote a continuous learning culture and facilitate leadership development initiatives.
- Support compliance and role-specific training across departments.
Career Development
- Work with employees and managers to create personalized development plans.
- Support internal mobility, succession planning, and mentorship programs.
- Facilitate career pathing conversations and progression strategies.
Employee Engagement
- Lead employee engagement efforts by assessing feedback (e.g., surveys, focus groups) and designing action plans.
- Champion a high-performance, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
- Track engagement metrics and partner with leaders to drive improvement initiatives.
Talent Onboarding & Integration
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Design and deliver onboarding programs that align with company values and team goals.
- Support new hire assimilation and early engagement strategies.
Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
- Conduct investigations and support performance improvement plans with fairness and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor laws.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze and report on people data, including turnover, engagement, training metrics, and development progress.
- Use data to guide business decisions and support HR initiatives.
Policy Implementation & Compliance
- Support the development, communication, and consistent enforcement of HR policies and practices.
- Maintain compliance with employment regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner or in a strategic HR advisory role.
- Strong understanding of L&D, employee engagement, and career development frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive cultural change, and lead HR initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and consultative skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and HR analytics tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing change and driving learning programs in dynamic or matrixed organizations.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar are advantageous.
- Strong project management and facilitation capabilities.
