SUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner provides HR expertise on people related issues such as Employee & Labor Relations, Coaching & Development, Conflict Management, and Training.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with management and staff to resolve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and minimize unwanted turnover.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, including union grievances, investigations, etc.
- Maintains and updates documents in Oracle HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, collective bargaining requirements and employment/labor laws.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructurings, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual employee coaching needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience as a HR generalist or HRBP.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred).
- Proficient with Oracle (preferred).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $60,000 to $70,000
