Role Objective

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to business and operations leaders, driving people initiatives aligned with business objectives. The role involves managing employee relations, performance management, engagement, and compliance in a UK-shift ITES/KPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Stakeholder Partnering

  • Partner with operations and business leaders to align HR strategy with

business goals

  • Provide HR advisory support on workforce planning, productivity, and

organizational effectiveness

  • Support change management initiatives in a dynamic ITES/KPO setup

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and escalations
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and wellness initiatives
  • Ensure a positive employee experience across the lifecycle

Performance & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end performance management cycles (KRAs, appraisals,

feedback)

  • Identify high-potential talent and support career development

initiatives

  • Partner with L&D for training and capability-building programs
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and

internal HR policies

  • Oversee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits, and documentation
  • Maintain HR MIS, dashboards, and analytics for leadership reporting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and HR COEs
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management
  • Support HR initiatives for UK shift and night-shift workforce

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong HRBP experience in ITES / KPO / BPM industry
  • Hands-on experience managing UK shift / night-shift workforce
  • Excellent employee relations and stakeholder management skills
  • Good knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities

Educational Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
