The HR Compensation & Benefits Officer will be responsible for managing payroll, leave, compensation, and benefits processes across the organization. The role requires expertise in ERP systems, strong knowledge of HR policies, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate administration of employee compensation while supporting HR initiatives in Retail and F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Administer employee compensation, benefits, allowances, and incentives.
- Oversee leave management, including tracking, approvals, and reporting.
- Process leave settlements and final settlements for exiting employees.
- Ensure timely submission and reconciliation of statutory contributions and deductions.
- Maintain accurate HR records, payroll reports, and documentation for audits.
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams to implement compensation and benefits strategies.
- Support HR in employee onboarding, offboarding, and related formalities from a compensation perspective.
- Assist in designing and administering performance-based incentive schemes.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave.
- Utilize ERP software (e.g., SAP, Odoo, or similar) for payroll, leave, and HR administration.
- Prepare periodic HR and payroll reports for management review.
- Stay updated on labor laws, statutory requirements, and best practices in compensation & benefits.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, compensation, leave management, and benefits administration, preferably in Retail and F&B sectors.
- Strong experience with ERP systems like SAP, Odoo, or similar HR/payroll software.
- Excellent knowledge of computer-based HR and payroll applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Knowledge of Qatar labor laws and statutory regulations is a plus.
