HR Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM Monday- Friday

Key Roles

  • HRIS system administrator and subject matter expert
  • Bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Employee benefits coordinator and support
  • Safety team and compliance support
  • HR help desk support

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain company benefit programs and documentation (FMLA, disability, 401k, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the benefits broker to manage benefit platforms and resolve employee inquiries
  • Educate employees on company benefits, policies, and values
  • Process, verify, and maintain employee data and personnel records in Paylocity; serve as system expert
  • Create offer letters for new hires and internal transfers
  • Serve as payroll backup and process bi-weekly payroll accurately
  • Provide timely information and communication to employees and leadership
  • Conduct phone interviews and coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managers
  • Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires
  • Support safety administration, including Workers’ Compensation claims and injury reporting
  • Travel between company sites to provide on-site HR support as needed
  • Support overall HR functions as needed, including orientation, training, employee relations, and policy guidance
