Salary Range:
$52k-$62k (Commensurate with experience)

Purpose of the Role

At Tracewell, people are our greatest asset. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll support the full employee lifecycle and help ensure our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be a key partner in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement — all while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding qualified job applicants through partnership with hiring managers and departments
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to policies, benefits, and hiring processes; refer complex questions to senior HR leadership
  • Support HR programs including compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, talent management, recognition, engagement, and training
  • Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by recommending best practices and supporting policy reviews
  • Assist in employee recognition programs and special events such as benefits open enrollment, company-wide meetings, and celebrations
  • Perform administrative tasks for the HR department and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records
  • Support planning and execution of HR-related events including retirements, holiday parties, and employee appreciation activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 2 years of experience in HR preferred; recruiting experience a plus
  • Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP experience preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facility
