Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world’s aviation leaders. Ontic’s Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for a HR Coordinator to join them. You will report to the HR Director and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC .

To be considered for the HR Coordinator opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • Associate’s degree in human resources or a similar discipline

  • 2+ years of direct HR administrative experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as HRIS systems

As a HR Coordinator, you will:

  • Facilitate onboarding processes, including orientation and documentation

  • Complete and retain I-9 documentation in accordance with federal statutes and regulations

  • Maintain and prepare employment records related to events such as hiring, termination leave, transfers, or promotions using system software

  • Process employee changes, such as transfers and terminations

  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries and claims

  • Coordinate open enrollment periods and benefits communication

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations

  • Interpret and administer provisions of the company Human Resources policies such as standards of conduct, benefits, hours of work, special pay, wages, holidays and vacations

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Must maintain confidentiality in all employee matters and maintain a high level of integrity

  • Current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action guidelines and laws

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training sessions

  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed

  • Manage HR-related correspondence and maintain department files

  • Support payroll

Compensation Pay Range

$24 - $28/hour, based on experience
