PRIMARY FUNCTION: Performs the day-to-day HR matters, orientation, ensuring documentation returned,
ensuring audit compliance for HR, and training compliance for new hires, report new hires to NC, complete I-9’s
and submit to e-verify, ensure all PII is kept confidential.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Works collaboratively with staff and managers to:
- Responsible for employees through the complete cycle of employment.
- Provide detailed orientation of new hires, including but not limited to:
Scheduling training
Verify all licenses and education with primary sources.
Obtain references and/or employment verifications and file in records.
- Ensure compliance with completion of documentation and training. Reach out to staff to assess any issues
preventing completion of requirements.
- Ensure all electronic records are uploaded, maintain compliance with various auditing and credentialing
agencies.
- Follow up on expiring licenses, liability insurance, etc. and upload copies to electronic records.
- Complete I-9 duties for new hires ensuring documentation is accurate and filed
- Communicate onboarding times/dates and information to others as required.
- Assist with quarterly and annual verifications for NCNR, OIG and Medicaid exclusion list as requested.
- Participate in recruiting and job fairs as assigned.
- Assist with FMLA
- Assist with ADA
- Update job descriptions and develop SOP’s as requested.
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Director or COO.
