Position Summary:
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is seeking a professional, service-oriented HR Coordinator to serve as the "face and voice" of our Headquarters location. This unique role blends high-level public relations with essential Human Resources support.
The ideal candidate thrives in a customer-service-driven environment, balancing the needs of the front desk with the organized, confidential nature of HR operations.
This is a full time position and requires the employee to be available to work 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This is not a telework position.
This position works in a customer service focused environment and will receive numerous daily telephone and in-person contacts with the public and law enforcement officials and employees alike. The individual selected to fill this position will be required to become knowledgeable with the KBI’s structure, policies and procedures as well as to gain knowledge about other state or local agencies and certain private entities that may be able to assist our constituents.
