We’re seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR/Office Coordinator to join our team and support our frontline heroes behind the scenes.
Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations while also ensuring the efficient functioning of the office environment. This role focuses on onboarding, personnel file compliance, recruitment support, payroll coordination, and general office administration. This position is office-based in Miami-Dade and reports directly to the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate onboarding processes including background checks, license verification, orientation setup, and personnel file preparation
Maintain compliant and audit-ready employee records in accordance with state, federal, and healthcare regulations
Monitor licensure, certification, and health documentation such as TB, CPR, and annual training to ensure timely renewals
Post job openings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Collect and review employee timesheets, support payroll processes, and assist in resolving timekeeping issues
Respond to employee questions related to HR policies and provide timely and professional support
Assist with new hire orientation and ongoing HR communications
Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
Support general office operations including answering phones, greeting visitors, and coordinating office needs
Assist leadership team with administrative tasks, scheduling, and meeting coordination
Generate reports and assist with internal file audits and regulatory compliance reviews
Support employee engagement activities and company initiatives
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
1–3 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting
Knowledge of Florida employment laws and healthcare compliance practices preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook; HRIS experience is a plus
Bilingual English and Spanish required
