Human Resource Coordinator should be someone who:
The HR Coordinator should have experience with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention. Please look at the job description outline provided.

Recruiting/Hiring:
  • Recruit and respond to new hires from online job boards as needed
  • Set up and conduct job interviews of potential applicants on experience, skills and education
  • Maintain an active systematic pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure staffing needs are met
  • Review and verify applications for complete and accurate information
  • Check professional references

Onboarding:
  • Initiate the process of background screens
  • Collect prerequisite items from new hires prior to them starting
  • Conduct verification of driver’s license and vehicle insurance as needed
  • Verify that new hires have reviewed and signed all necessary and required paperwork
  • Interact with new hires at multiple points throughout the onboarding process
  • Serve as a single point of contract for new hires for any questions or needs regarding onboarding documents
  • Ensure a consistent and successful transition for new hires joining the organization
  • Conducts New-Hire Orientation of company policies and procedures for new hires

Retention:
  • Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with the company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
  • Organize company social events and employee of the month program
  • Tracks and maintains company birthday program
  • Contact and interact with employees about various HR needs and initiatives
  • Facilitate in-house electronic anonymous surveys

Other HR responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate completion of HR related forms
  • Assist with the processing of bi-weekly payroll
  • Understand how to file claims, file workers’ compensation claims and inform insurance
  • Complete termination process of employees and exit reviews
  • Provide administrative support to Managers and Directors
  • Maintain Policies and Procedures and company charts and records
  • Update new hire orientations, forms, policies, and Employee Handbook
  • Ensure all personnel files are complete, organized and prepared for the company’s 90-day, monthly feedback, and annual employee performance reviews
  • Ensure that all employees’ credentials are up to date and reach out to all employees to ensure that all expiring credentials are updated
  • Update Organizational Chart

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Two or more years of Human Resources experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including excel, with the ability to learn new software programs
