HR cum Site Admin

Job Summary:

The Site HR Officer will be responsible for managing all human resources functions at the construction site, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations. This role involves handling recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, grievance redressal, and employee engagement activities at the site level.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of site-based staff and labor.
  • Maintain daily attendance records and ensure timely payroll inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and site-specific statutory requirements.
  • Handle documentation for workers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Address employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Conduct site inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor and report on workforce productivity and absenteeism.
  • Organize welfare activities and promote a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with project managers and corporate HR for manpower planning.
  • Support audits and inspections by government or internal teams.
  • Maintain HR records and prepare periodic reports for management.
  • Facilitate training and skill development programs for site staff.
  • Ensure timely renewal of labor licenses and other statutory documents.
  • Promote employee engagement and resolve interpersonal conflicts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • 8-12 years of HR experience, preferably in a construction or infrastructure company.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, site operations, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a site-based environment.
