The Human Resources Data & Reporting Coordinator serves as the primary administrator and internal contact for the HRIS system, SCEIS, and supervises the data processing function for the Human Resources Department, including data entry, maintenance, auditing, and processing of sensitive HRIS data. In addition, the HR Data & Reporting Coordinator is responsible for maximizing technological capabilities to reduce manual processes, maintaining the general upkeep of the HRIS database, preparing ad-hoc/scheduled reports, and serving as a resource for process-improvement tasks and special projects.
HRIS/SCEIS: Ensures HRIS data is entered and maintained accurately. Monitors communication with SCEIS daily reporting and updates as necessary. Develops and maintains process manuals for data entry and management of HRIS data.
Reporting: Completes required SCC reporting, including Faculty Salary/IPEDS, annual EEO, and compensated absence reports, verifying the accuracy of data and ensuring timely submission. Works with other members of HR or SCC to complete as needed. Generates data for surveys or reports such as salary projections, special audit reports, employee demographic data, and projected salary increases as requested.
Serves as HRIS Team Leader for the department. Duties include working with other HR or SCC staff, coordinating IT updates or changes in the system, managing projects for the automation of processes, utilizing additional software platforms, and supporting team members in system training.
Assists the HR team by coordinating special projects, developing, and monitoring appropriate metrics, improving HR processes, and preserving the HR knowledge base for ease of transition.
Bachelor's degree and experience in human resources.
Bachelor's degree in a related area, experience with SCEIS data management, strong knowledge and experience with Colleague HRIS, and a minimum of 3 years' experience managing and analyzing data, to include reporting and high-volume data processing.
