HR Director

The HR Director leads the overall human resources strategy and operations, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains talent while maintaining compliance with Qatar labor laws and internal policies. This senior role partners with leadership to align people strategy with business goals and build a strong, high-performance culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the HR strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and succession planning.
  • Advise senior management on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor HR teams, HR managers, and business partners.
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and talent pipeline programs.
  • Oversee HR reporting, metrics, and process improvement to strengthen efficiency and decision-making.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Significant senior HR leadership experience, typically 10+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of Qatar labor law and local employment practices.

Preferred attributes

  • Experience in a fast-growing, turnaround, or multi-country environment.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution.

Pay: QAR100.00 - QAR190.00 per hour
