Role Overview:
You will be responsible for setting up and scaling the entire HR function from scratch, managing employee records, handling day to day HR operations aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and creating a high-performance, people-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadershipo Define and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with business goals.o Act as a strategic advisor to the founders and leadership team on people matters.o Build the HR structure from the ground up.
- HR Operations, Processes and Practices
o Support onboarding and exit processes.o Maintain HR records and ensure timely documentationo Leave / attendance managemento Employee handbook Implementationo Fulfilling all aspects of HR compliances pertaining to labour laws, wages & compensation, PT, PF, EPF, TDS and Gratuity, PoSH, Maternity benefits, DEI ,Medical Insurance etc.
- Talent Acquisitiono Manage end-to-end recruitment for junior and mid-level roles, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and offer management.o Maintain accurate recruitment data and reportso Liaise with hiring managers to understand requirements and drive closure• Performance Management & Learningo Design and implement robust performance management framework.o Drive learning and development initiatives tailored to business and employee growth needs.o Work closely with teams to identify learning needs and recommend solutions
- Culture & Engagemento Foster a strong and inclusive company culture that reflects startup values.o Lead employee engagement, internal communications, and feedback mechanisms (surveys, town halls, etc.).o Handling Grievances and taking disciplinary actions like, Issuing warning letters, PIP, termination etc.
- Compensation & Benefitso Design competitive compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefits.o Design reward and recognition program.
- People Analytics & Technologyo Leverage HR data to make informed decisions on hiring, retention, engagement, and productivity.o Evaluate and implement HR tech tools to improve efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience (6–12 years) in core HR functions in a startup.• Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategy with business goals.• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.• Experience in setting up HR processes from scratch is a must.• Exposure to modern HR tech platforms and data-driven HR best practices.• Strong in MS office and making presentations.• MBA in HR or related field preferred.
