Job Description – HR Generalist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist with 2–4 years of experience who can independently manage Recruitment, Payroll, Statutory Compliance, and HR Generalist functions. The role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and payroll management to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle – sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines through portals, networking, and referrals.

2. Payroll Management & Statutory Compliance

  • Process monthly payroll with accuracy (attendance, leave, deductions, reimbursements, incentives).
  • Manage statutory compliances – PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, etc. • Handle payroll-related queries from employees.
  • Coordinate with finance teams and statutory authorities for timely filings.

3. HR Operations & Generalist Activities

  • Maintain employee records, HRIS, and documentation.
  • Draft/update HR policies and procedures.
  • Support in performance management cycles and appraisals.
  • Conduct employee onboarding, induction, and exit formalities.

4. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Plan and execute engagement activities to foster a positive culture.
  • Address employee grievances and queries.
  • Support training and development initiatives. Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist with hands-on payroll & statutory compliance exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll processes, and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in MS Office and HR tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
