HR Deputy Manager

Location: Plantrich Agri Tech Pvt. Ltd., Kottayam

Job Description:
The HR Deputy Manager supports and assists in managing HR operations, ensuring policy compliance, improving employee experience, and contributing to organizational goals through effective people practices.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations
1. Support daily HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits, and employee records.
2. Ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
3. Assist in developing HR policies and procedures.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
1. Lead hiring for mid/junior roles: posting, screening, interviewing, and coordination.
2. Work with departments to meet manpower needs.
Performance Management
1. Support implementation of PMS, KPI setting, reviews, and improvement plans.
Employee Relations
1. Address employee concerns and support conflict resolution.
2. Assist in engagement and culture-building initiatives.
Training & Development
1. Identify training needs and coordinate programs.
2. Track effectiveness and maintain records.
HR Data & Reporting
1. Maintain HRMIS accuracy and prepare HR reports.
2. Provide insights using HR analytics.
Compliance & Audit
1. Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety standards, and internal policies.
2. Support audit processes and documentation.
Strategic Support
1. Assist in workforce planning, OD, and succession planning.
2. Act as HR Manager’s delegate when required.

Requirements:
✔ EBachelor’s in HR/Business (Master’s preferred).
✔ 5+ years HR experience, including 2+ in a senior/supervisory role.
✔ Strong HR knowledge, communication skills, and proficiency in HRMIS & MS Office.
✔ Office-based role with occasional travel; ability to manage deadlines and high-pressure situations.
✔ Leadership, Decision-Making, Problem-Solving, Communication, Negotiation, Engagement, Analytics, Adaptability.
