1. Payroll Processing
- Collect, verify, and process employee attendance, leaves, overtime, and shift records.
- Ensure accurate monthly salary calculations including earnings, deductions, incentives, and reimbursements.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure timely salary disbursement.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Handle PF, ESIC, LWF, Professional Tax, TDS, and other statutory deductions.
- Generate and file monthly, quarterly, and yearly statutory returns.
- Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws and audit requirements.
3. Employee Data Management
- Maintain employee master data in HRMS or payroll software.
- Update new joiner, exit, promotions, transfers, and salary revision details.
- Create and manage employee pay slips, salary statements, and MIS reports.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Resolve employee queries related to salary, deductions, leaves, benefits, and reimbursements.
- Coordinate with finance, HR, and department heads for attendance and payroll approval.
- Support employees with investment declarations, Form-16, and tax-related questions.
5. Onboarding & Exit Payroll Activities
- Process new employee onboarding details into payroll system.
- Manage F&F settlement including notice pay, leave encashment, recovery, and final payouts.
- Prepare relieving documents and coordinate with finance for settlement disbursement.
6. HRMS / Payroll Software Management
- Operate payroll tools like Keka, Zoho, GreytHR, SAP, or Tally (as applicable).
- Ensure accurate data entry and system updates.
- Generate payroll-related reports and analytics as required.
7. Audit & Documentation
- Maintain payroll files, statutory registers, and documentation for audits.
- Support internal and external auditors with required payroll data.
8. Additional HR Support
- Assist in HR operations such as attendance management, leave tracking, and employee engagement activities.
- Support HR policies, compliance updates, and internal communication.
