Position Overview
Uma Marine is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Executive to join our Human Resources Department. This role is essential in supporting our workforce, ensuring smooth HR operations, and maintaining a positive, compliant, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of HR processes within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
• Support payroll preparation, attendance management, leave tracking, and employee queries.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company guidelines.
• Coordinate training programs, employee engagement activities, and internal communications.
• Prepare HR reports, letters, memos, and other official documentation.
• Act as a point of contact between management and staff, fostering a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HR operations; experience in the marine or logistics sector is an added advantage.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems/tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment.
