Job Title: HR Executive

Experience Required: 2+ Years

Location: Kochi/Remote/Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Executive with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on HR experience. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, recruitment, managing payroll activities and compliance while ensuring smooth HR processes across the organization.

HR Operations

  • Maintain complete employee lifecycle documentation (joining to exit)
  • Update and manage employes data.
  • Manage attendance systems, leave policies, shift schedules, and holidays
  • Prepare HR letters: offer, appointment, confirmation, increment, transfer, warning, and exit letters
  • Handle probation confirmation and employee background verification (BGV) coordination
  • Manage employee exits, resignations, notice period tracking, and clearance process
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and attendance
  • Maintain HR trackers, files, and statutory registers
  • Support HR audits, internal checks, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee data and HR records

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level positions
  • Source profiles through job portals, referrals, consultants, and social media
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews
  • Schedule and coordinate technical and managerial interviews
  • Negotiate offers, issue offer letters, and follow up on joining
  • Manage joining formalities and documentation
  • Conduct new hire induction and orientation programs
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, and interview feedback

Payroll Management (Mandatory)

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time as per payroll calendar
  • Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions
  • Handle statutory deductions: PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF
  • Coordinate with finance and payroll Team
  • Prepare and share payslips, salary registers, and payroll MIS
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Process Full & Final settlements, gratuity, and leave encashment
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Act as a single point of contact for employee HR and payroll queries
  • Support grievance handling and disciplinary processes
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, celebrations, and surveys
  • Support internal communication and HR initiatives

Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure adherence to company HR policies and labour laws
  • Support PF, ESI, and statutory compliance and filings
  • Assist in updating HR policies, and employee handbook

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Commerce, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience with strong payroll exposure
  • Sound knowledge of Indian payroll, labour laws, and statutory compliance
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with payroll tools
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
