Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant with strong Excel skills to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will handle employee data management, HR documentation, reporting, and coordination of administrative processes across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare HR reports, attendance summaries, and payroll support documents using advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data validation, etc.).
  • Assist in onboarding, documentation, and maintaining personnel files.
  • Track employee attendance, leaves, and overtime records.
  • Support recruitment activities — scheduling interviews, collecting documents, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Prepare letters (offer, warning, salary certificate, etc.) as per HR guidelines.
  • Assist in HR audits, compliance checks, and periodic reviews.
  • Coordinate with finance and admin teams for payroll and benefits processing.
  • Handle employee queries professionally and maintain high service standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support (preferably in construction or engineering sectors).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, formatting).
  • Knowledge of HR software / ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
