The HR Executive is responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of the Human Resources function within the hotel, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll support, statutory compliance, and employee engagement. The role ensures that the hotel maintains a professional, motivated, and compliant workforce aligned with organizational standards and hospitality service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
- Ensure timely hiring to support hotel operations.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documentation.
- Conduct employee induction/orientation programs.
- Ensure smooth integration of new hires into the hotel culture.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related queries.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment.
- Organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
4. Training & Development
- Assist in identifying training needs in coordination with HODs.
- Support the implementation of training schedules and programs.
- Maintain training records and monitor effectiveness.
5. Payroll & Compliance
- Support payroll preparation by providing necessary employee data.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR MIS.
6. Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal process with department managers.
- Ensure timely completion of probation and annual reviews.
7. General HR Administration
- Maintain employee personal files and HR database.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review.
- Support disciplinary procedures as per hotel policies.
