Job Summary:
The Payroll & Compliance Executive will be responsible for handling payroll processing, statutory compliance, and contract labour management in alignment with applicable labour laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll for all categories of employees (permanent, contractual, operators, engineers, and support staff).
- Compute salaries, wages, overtime, deductions, incentives, and bonuses accurately.
- Reconcile payroll with attendance, leave records, and timesheets.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and statutory benefits.
- Maintain compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax (PT), Minimum Wages Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable labour laws.
- Assist in handling inspections, statutory audits, and queries from government authorities.
- Maintain contract labour compliance including registration, records, wage payments, and documentation.
- Update and maintain accurate leave and attendance data for payroll processing.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation, taxation, and statutory norms.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in HR / Commerce / Law / MBA (HR preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors (Water Treatment Plants / EPC projects experience will be an advantage).
Key Skills:
- Good knowledge of PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT, and other statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software / HRMS.
- Strong numerical and data accuracy skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliation and reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
