Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to manage Industrial Relations (IR) activities and ensure harmonious relationships between management and employees/workers. The role involves handling labor laws compliance, union interactions, grievance management, and maintaining a positive work environment in line with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Industrial Relations activities
- Maintain healthy relations with workers and union representatives
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
- Liaise with government authorities (Labor Office, PF, ESI, Factory Inspector, etc.)
- Draft and implement HR/IR policies and procedures
- Assist in wage negotiations and settlements
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation
- Conduct employee engagement and welfare activities
- Support during audits and inspections
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR / Labor Law / Industrial Relations (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)
- 3–8 years of experience in Industrial Relations (manufacturing/plant setup preferred)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Experience handling unions and collective bargaining
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong documentation and drafting abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
