Supports administration and execution of human resources programs including but not limited to recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, and leaves of absence.

Assists with the recruitment workflow: scheduling interviews, conducting background screens, employee eligibility/certification verifications, references as requested.

Manages employee uniform/scrub orders.

Manages pre-employment and onboarding processes including online assessments, pre-employment health screens, I-9 and eVerify compliance.

Coordinates disability and workers’ compensation claims, working with insurance carrier and leave administrator.

Handles HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HRBP and/or manager.

Maintains online employee personnel files, as well as ensuring related documents are also in the company’s HRIS (Workday).

Updates org charts the first of each month ensuring data is accurate in HRIS system (Workday)

Initiates HR-related purchase orders.

Coordinates payroll changes for processing

Processes tuition and fitness program reimbursements

Processes employment verification requests

Coordinates with various departments and lead for monthly newsletter(s).

Coordinates employee activities/events

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS)

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

At least two (2) years’ related experience required.

Knowledge of employment laws and HR professional practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, Workday and ADP Workforce Now a plus

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Detail oriented and able to multi-task.

Ability and willingness to travel as some domestic travel may be required.

Ability to spend extension amount of time sitting, working on a computer.

Ability to safely lift up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds occasionally.
