The Role
Cuisine And Travel is seeking a versatile and proactive HR Generalist to join our team in the vibrant Al Haffa district of Salalah. This is a foundational role within our organization, responsible for supporting the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll administration and employee relations. We are looking for an HR professional who thrives in a multi-tasking environment and enjoys being "on the floor" supporting a team dedicated to exceptional hospitality and travel experiences.
Core Responsibilities * End-to-End Recruitment: Source and screen candidates for a variety of roles, including hospitality staff, travel coordinators, and administrative support, ensuring a high standard of service-oriented talent.
- Onboarding & Integration: Manage the welcoming process for all new hires, ensuring all legal documentation is in place and that staff are culturally and operationally integrated into the Al Haffa team.
- Payroll & Benefits Admin: Coordinate monthly attendance and leave records, working with Finance to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements in compliance with GOSI.
- Omanisation Compliance: Actively monitor and support nationalization targets, maintaining positive relationships with the Ministry of Labour and ensuring all local filings are up to date.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving minor grievances and fostering a positive, collaborative work culture.
- Compliance & Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous digital and physical employee files, ensuring all labor cards, visas, and health certificates are current and compliant with Omani Law.
Professional Profile * Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the tourism, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of the Omani Labour Law and experience using the Ministry of Labour’s digital portals.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse, multicultural workforce.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Arabic is essential for this location and role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
