WHO WE ARE
We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.
Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.
WHAT WE'LL NEED
The HR Administrator/Generalist supports Wingstop’s Field HR operations and ensures a seamless team member experience. This role administers and enhances field benefits, HRIS, and talent acquisition processes while serving as a key advisor on policy interpretation, compliance, and system issues. Acting as a central hub for HR process execution, data accuracy, and field communication, the HR Administrator/Generalist drives operational excellence across the function.
You will manage benefit programs, maintain HRIS data integrity by resolving Oracle feed errors, and support the recruiting and onboarding lifecycle. Partnering with HR Business Partners and the HRIS team, you’ll ensure accurate data, timely issue resolution, and effective communication through the Field HR website and shared inbox. Through these efforts, you’ll improve efficiency, transparency, and the overall employee experience across Wingstop’s field organization.
Responsibilities:
Administer and continuously enhance all team member benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and leaves of absence – ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company policy.
Design and deliver benefit education sessions (open enrollment, new hire orientations) and develop communication materials to ensure employees and Field HR teams fully understand eligibility, coverage, and program changes.
Serve as the primary liaison to benefit vendors, exercising independent judgment to resolve escalated employee issues, evaluate service performance, and recommend process improvements as needed.
Oversee HRIS data integrity, including monitoring and resolving Oracle feed errors (e.g., missing or incorrect employee data such as SSN, DOB, home address, or manager/direct report alignment) and recurring data discrepancies, identifying root causes, and developing long-term corrective strategies in partnership with HRIS and IT.
Oversee field job postings and requisitions, including creating, updating, and closing positions as needed to support hiring needs.
Advise and oversee recruiting operations, including coordinating field hiring events, managing applicant tracking, background check coordination, I-9 audit reporting, and follow-up to ensure compliance and timely processing.
Manage and continuously improve the Field Exempt Orientation experience, overseeing logistics, onboarding communications, and participant engagement, and analyzing feedback to recommend improvements.
Manage the HR shared inbox and department communications, ensuring timely responses and consistent messaging to employees and field leadership.
Own and maintain the Field HR website and communications, ensuring accurate updates, posting HR processes, and sharing key information and resources with field teams.
Monitor and authorize department purchasing and expense submissions as needed, ensuring timely processing and proper documentation.
Partner with Field HR Business Partners to design, plan, and communicate HR initiatives and events that strengthen engagement and operational efficiency.
Represent the brand in a professional and polished manner, providing service excellence to all customers, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in HR operations.
Frequent use of a computer and HR systems (including Oracle, Microsoft Office products) to maintain employee data and support daily HR operations.
Collaboration with Field HR and Recruiting teams to assist with hiring events, orientations, and HR initiatives.
Occasional work outside of regular business hours, based on business needs.
Travel required: typically once per month to DFW-area locations and once per quarter to Las Vegas locations to support field hiring and onboarding events (domestic only).
Other duties as assigned.
