HR Generalist / HR Manager

Discounters is a rapidly growing e-commerce centric company on a mission to reshape online shopping in Pakistan as well as the World. With a team of 40+ talented individuals, we are scaling aggressively 100%+ year by year. We are now looking for a dynamic HR Manager who can manage our people operations end-to-end — from hiring to culture building, we want a person who are not just hiring people but actually building a winning team.

Key Responsibilities

Hiring & Recruitment:

Develop and execute a clear recruitment strategy aligned with company growth plans.
Work closely with department heads to forecast hiring needs.
Design and implement effective assessment methods (assignments, role plays, psychometric tests) to evaluate candidates beyond CVs.
Promote Discounters.pk as an employer of choice by creating a positive candidate experience at every stage.

Payroll & HR Operations:

Prepare and process monthly payroll.
Manage attendance, leave policies, and employee records.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws (SECP, EOBI).

Employee Engagement & Culture:

Organize internal activities to boost team engagement.
Develop initiatives that strengthen company culture and retention.
Act as a bridge between employees and management.

Policy and Compliance:

Draft, implement, and update HR policies as needed.
Maintain up-to-date employee files and contracts.

Conflict Management:

Address employee queries and resolve minor disputes amicably.
Promote a positive work environment focused on respect and collaboration.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of proven experience in a Generalist HR role.
Strong knowledge of recruitment, culture and basic legal compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the HR function.
Experience working in e-commerce, logistics, or fast-growing environments (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
