Key Responsibilities:
You will be a key contributor with responsibilities that include:

Employee Relations & Consulting: Serve as the first point of contact for HR issues, ensuring all employment decisions are policy-compliant and legally grounded.

Lifecycle Recruitment: Manage job postings, review applicant data, coordinate background screenings, and facilitate regular new employee orientations.

Benefits & Leave Management: Oversee annual open enrollment, process benefit applications, and manage FMLA or other leave of absence requests.

Claims Coordination: Administer and report workers' compensation and unemployment claims while serving as a liaison with insurance providers and state agencies.

Records & Compliance: Maintain precise personnel files and HRIS data in strict accordance with state and federal regulations.

Status Processing: Execute all changes regarding employee status, compensation, and work assignments.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience Required: At least two years of experience in Human Resources, Personnel, or Public Administration.

Solid understanding of basic HR practices and legal regulations, including the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Civil Rights Act.

Strong proficiency in Windows-based software applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Exceptional organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Leadership Partnership: You will regularly consult with Center Directors and Supervisors to provide expert guidance on HR problem-solving and ensure employment decisions are both policy-compliant and legally sound.

Front-Line Engagement: You will serve as the first point of contact for our front-line employees, building trust and maintaining open lines of communication across the entire organization.

Organizational Influence: Beyond administrative tasks, you will contribute to department-wide quality improvement activities and help develop training programs that empower our supervisory staff.
