1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Develop and post job advertisements
- Screen resumes and applications
- Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements
- Onboard new employees
2. Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Conduct investigations into complaints or grievances
- Act as a mediator between employees and management
3. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer payroll and benefits programs
- Benchmark salaries and benefits for competitiveness
- Explain compensation policies to employees
- Manage leave policies (sick leave, vacation, maternity/paternity)
4. Training & Development
- Assess training needs and create development plans
- Organize internal or external training programs
- Monitor employee performance and track development progress
5. Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems
- Support goal setting and regular feedback cycles
- Manage promotions, raises, and disciplinary actions
6. Compliance & HR Policies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations (local and national)
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and employee handbooks
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
7. HR Data & Reporting
- Use HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) to manage employee data
- Generate HR reports (turnover rates, headcount, diversity metrics, etc.)
- Analyze HR metrics to guide strategic decision-making
8. Organizational Development
- Support change management initiatives
- Contribute to workforce planning and organizational design
- Assist with succession planning and talent management
