The HR Manager oversees the full spectrum of human resource functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, compliance, and policy implementation. This role ensures alignment of HR practices with organizational goals and fosters a positive, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments (job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding).
- Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Maintain and update candidate pipelines through ATS or recruitment tools.
- Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
- Design and implement engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to improve retention.
3. Performance Management
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems (OKRs/KPIs).
- Guide managers and employees on performance improvement and career development.
- Support in setting up training and development programs aligned with business goals.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies in compliance with local labor laws.
- Ensure proper documentation, contracts, and employee records are maintained.
- Manage compliance audits and advise management on legal HR matters.
5. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee compensation and benefits data.
- Recommend competitive compensation structures and incentives.
6. Reporting & HR Analytics
- Maintain accurate HR databases and generate regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, diversity, etc.).
- Provide data-driven insights to management for workforce planning and decision-making.
7. Organizational Development
- Contribute to strategic planning by aligning HR objectives with company goals.
- Lead initiatives for culture building, change management, and process improvement.
- Support leadership development and succession planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HR systems (HRIS, ATS).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Zoho People, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors).
