Position Overview:
The HR Manager at Pitambra Film & Production plays a crucial role in managing recruitment, performance, and employee relations across creative, production, CRM, and coordination teams. This role ensures smooth functioning of daily operations, disciplined work culture, and effective manpower management needed for shoots, walk-ins, production schedules, and client handling.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end hiring for creative teams, photographers, editors, stylists, CRM executives, production crew, and interns.
- Coordinate timely hiring to support shoot schedules, walk-ins, and seasonal workload.
- Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and work closely with department heads for final selections.
- Ensure onboarding is fast, professional, and aligned with shoot requirements.
2. Attendance, Discipline & Performance Monitoring
- Oversee daily attendance and punctuality for office staff, WFH staff, and shoot teams.
- Implement strict guidelines for leaves, reporting time, work-from-home performance, and task updates.
- Track performance of CRM teams (follow-ups, walk-ins, conversions), photographers, and stylists.
- Issue warnings or notices in case of non-performance or disciplinary violations.
3. HR Policies & Workplace Management
- Create and enforce HR rules specifically for production workflow, shoot operations, and client-facing roles.
- Maintain a professional and respectful work environment across all departments.
- Ensure all employees follow company SOPs related to shoots, communication, dress code, attendance, and behaviour.
4. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
- Address employee concerns, solve internal conflicts, and maintain team harmony.
- Act as a bridge between management and staff, ensuring smooth communication.
- Handle disputes involving work delays, shoot cancellations, CRM issues, or team co-ordination.
5. Payroll, Leaves & Documentation
- Coordinate with accounts for salary processing, incentives, deductions, and performance-based revisions.
- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, joining letters, ID proofs, and NDAs for staff and freelancers.
- Track leaves, late marks, overtime, and performance-based bonuses.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs for CRM, photographers, editors, stylists, and new recruits.
- Conduct sessions to improve professionalism, communication, customer handling, punctuality, and productivity.
- Support management in developing skilled and reliable teams.
7. Culture Building & Team Engagement
- Plan internal events, team activities, and appreciation programs to build a positive work culture.
- Encourage teamwork across creative and operational departments.
- Motivate employees to maintain discipline, consistency, and responsibility.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or related field.
- Experience in HR management; experience in film/production/media industry strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and manage staff across different departments.
- Knowledge of compliance, labour laws, and HR documentation.
