We’re looking for a hands-on HR Manager who can bring structure, consistency, and follow-through to our HR operations. This role supports managers across the association, maintains reliable HR systems, and helps ensure our people processes run smoothly. If you enjoy building systems, improving workflows, and keeping things organized, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the daily operations of HR, ensuring accuracy in hiring, onboarding, and employee data.
  • Support hiring managers with posting, applicant movement, interviews, offers, and onboarding steps.
  • Oversee benefits administration, ACA tracking, and retirement reporting.
  • Maintain simple, consistent systems for compliance tracking (certifications, AED checks, safety audits, trainings, etc.).
  • Coordinate FMLA, medical leave, and workers’ compensation processes.
  • Support managers with routine HR questions and policy interpretation.
  • Maintain HR procedures, templates, and shared resources.
  • Prepare basic HR and compliance reports.
  • Supervise and develop the HR Generalist.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of generalist-level HR experience with exposure to multiple HR areas.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with an HRIS; Paycom experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees and managers.
  • Comfortable building processes, solving problems, and keeping things moving.
  • Ability to supervise and coach staff.
  • HR certification preferred but not required.
