The Manager – HR & Admin will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and administrative functions at the manufacturing unit. The role ensures statutory compliance, manpower management, employee relations, and smooth administrative operations in line with factory laws and Ayurvedic cosmetic industry standards.
Required Education : MBA in HR with min 6 to 8 Years Experience as HR & Admin-Manager Profile in Plant.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (HR)
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory, QA, production, warehouse, and office staff
- Manpower planning for production & shift-based operations
- Onboarding, induction, and documentation of employees
- Maintain employee records, personal files, and HRMIS
- Attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
- Performance appraisal coordination and employee engagement activities
- Grievance handling and employee relations at the plant level
- Training coordination (GMP, hygiene, safety, SOPs, ayurvedic compliance)
Statutory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- Factories Act
- Shops & Establishment Act
- PF, ESIC, PT, LWF
- Contract Labour Act
- Coordination with labor contractors and compliance audits
- Maintain statutory registers and liaison with government authorities
- Support internal & external audits (GMP, ISO, AYUSH, FDA)
Administration
- Overall administrative control of factory premises
- Vendor management (security, housekeeping, transport, canteen)
- Office infrastructure & facility management
- Travel, accommodation, and visitor management
- Asset management and inventory of office/admin supplies
- Coordination with maintenance & safety teams
- Support in EHS initiatives and safety compliance
Industrial Relations
- Manage contract labor and workforce discipline
- Support union handling (if applicable)
- Ensure smooth shift operations without disruptions
- Implement HR policies and company rules at the plant
Performance Appraisal
- Time to time Performance Appraisal -Collect Data from Candidates and from Head of the Department and Proceed for further Incrementon KRI Basis
- KPI & performance metrics
Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Preferably from Ayurvedic, herbal, FMCG, pharma, or cosmetic manufacturing
- Strong exposure to factory HR & admin operations
