Our client is looking for an HR Manager.
The HR Manager partners with internal clients and a remote workforce to provide practical, consistent, and proactive support, direction, and advice in a fast-paced sales environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Resolve work-related problems. Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment and recommend needed changes.

Coach leaders- understaffing, refereeing disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.

Initiate conflict resolution efforts and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations into workplace complaints.
- Provide multi-state support and guidance in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

Partner with Legal Counsel- multi-state employment law guidance for wage and hour topics including FLSA exemptions, overtime regulations, and final pay requirements as needed.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.

Partner with cross-divisional teams to assure accurate completion of background checks and consistent criteria for hiring of employees.
- Partner with in prior agreement process to support Sales Leaders for consistent hiring of employees.
- Manage new hire processes administered by HR team and partner with Corporate Recruiting and hiring supervisors for the extension of offer letters, onboarding, orientation and completion of new hire paperwork.
- Manage I-9 form and E-Verify cases to ensure proper compliance with USCIS regulations.

Manage annual review and quarterly performance objectives program
- Compose and update job descriptions and evaluate roles and pay for FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) compliance.
- Manage relocation process to ensure proper compliance with policies and standards.

Manage separation process including support of performance management documentation and administration of the separation and post-employment processes including unemployment claims.

Provide information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits in a multi-state environment.

Respond to inquiries regarding employment history, salaries, benefits, policies, and other relevant information.

Leverage applicant tracking system for research of unemployment claims, work search verifications, candidate issues, business issues, etc.

Champion compliance for division in partnership with team

Ensure the proper maintenance and communication of records as required by law and in accordance with established controls related to Human Resources activities.

Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates.

Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of employee records and data.

Support accurate completion of personnel change forms (PCAs) and ensure proper procedures followed and documented where appropriate; research and obtain additional information when required. Perform audits to ensure accuracy of information.
- Maintain records concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, reviews, turnover as needed.

Evaluates processes for continuous improvement of the department
- Manage employee surveys and feedback processes including engagement surveys and exit interviews.
- Manages relationships with vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services.

Provide backup to direct reports and other staff members of the team

Aid other departments as requested.

Have substantial access to personal information as well as confidential customer and company information.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 8 years' related experience is required.

A minimum of two years supervisory experience is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Multi-State Employment laws for wage and hour topics including FLSA exemptions, overtime regulations, and final pay requirements required.

Previous experience working with a for-profit, revenue producing organization preferred.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced sales environment preferred.

Management experience with a publicly held company preferred, including working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) procedures and requirements preferred.

Previous experience navigating a changing culture and environment preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency using Office 365, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome required.

Working Knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables required.
Salary: $100,000-120,000
