Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements (Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
- Draft, implement, and update HR policies in line with labour law provisions.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
- Liaise with government and labour authorities, maintain statutory records, and handle inspections.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely filing of statutory returns.
- Monitor and implement employee welfare schemes as per legal guidelines.
- Advise management on changes in labour legislation and their impact on the company.
- Handle trade union matters (if applicable) and maintain industrial harmony.
- Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on labour law compliance.
- Maintain smooth HR operations while safeguarding the company’s legal and ethical standards.
