HR Manager – Nauru Medical Centre (Onsite, Nauru)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join our healthcare team at the Nauru Medical Centre. The ideal candidate will oversee full-cycle HR operations, ensuring effective workforce planning, HR compliance, recruitment, and employee relations to support a professional and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations and personnel matters.
· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, deployment, performance evaluation, and exit procedures.
· Ensure compliance with local labour laws, company policies, and contractual obligations.
· Maintain employee records and HR documentation accurately and securely.
· Support training, professional development, and staff welfare initiatives.
· Mediate employee issues and promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
· Coordinate travel, rotation schedules, and contract renewals for visiting medical staff.
· Work closely with management to align HR strategies with facility goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 5-10 years HR management experience, preferably in healthcare or international workforce environments.
· Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations, and cross-cultural team management.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
