We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in labor law, employee handbook creation, compliance, and full-cycle recruiting for both hourly and salaried staff. This role is critical in supporting our workforce, strengthening company culture, and ensuring we remain compliant with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations within a manufacturing environment, supporting both leadership and front-line staff.
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA and FMLA.
- Develop, update, and maintain handbook policies, procedures, and HR documentation.
- Lead and execute full-cycle recruiting for production, technical, and professional roles.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, corrective action, and performance management.
- Partner with supervisors and managers to drive consistent communication and alignment with HR best practices.
- Conduct onboarding, new-hire orientation, and training programs to support retention.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Identify and implement HR process improvements to enhance productivity and culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor law, compliance, HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, technical, or industrial roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
